After over 20 years working with Mr. Arnold as a paralegal, Ms. Duane will now be embarking on a new journey as a freelance paralegal. We expect to continue using her services through her new business.
Alena Duane is a California native that started working with Bruce in 2000. Before joining our firm, Ms. Duane worked in the legal support field doing service of process, court filings, and record retrieval.
In December 2003, Ms. Duane completed three years of law-related experience under the supervision of Attorney Robert Bruce Arnold and became qualified to perform paralegal services in California. She later went on to attend Cuyamaca College part-time in order to obtain her Associate in Science degree with a major in Paralegal Studies. Ms. Duane graduated in June of 2008 with honors.
Ms. Duane worked closely with clients and attorneys within the firm. She assisted with all aspects of the practice from screening clients, to providing litigation support, preparing clients for depositions, case management, calendaring, medical record reviews, legal research, trial assistance, and drafting demands. She was an integral part of our team the past 20 plus years..
Although we (ARNOLD LAW FIRM aka Law office of Robert Bruce Arnold ) intend to limit the cases we take going forward and will no longer be in need of a full time paralegal, we expect we will be using Alena’s services as a freelance paralegal at her new business.For any lawyers looking for an experienced paralegal who can work independently, feel free to reach out to me for her contact information.
